.tel to be launched during Q4 2008

.tel is a service that enables business companies and individuals to store, show and administer all contact details without creating and maintaining a website. .tel provides a new internet standard that allows you and your company to take full control over where and how you are reachable.
The launch schedule looks like this:

3 December 2008-2 February 2009, .tel is open for trademark owners according to the first-come-first-served principle.
3 February 2009-23 March 2009, .tel is open for all according to the first-come-first-served principle, but the domain name is registered at a higher price, so-called landrush.
24 March 2009 General Launch: .tel is released and registered directly at the time of application according to the first-come-first-served principle.
