.yu domain names are now renewable up until their expiration date

If you choose not to transfer to a .rs domain you can still renew your .yu domain. Please be advised that they can only be renewed up until the 30th September 2009, all .yu domains will be de-registered after that regardless of their renewal date. .yu domain name owners should before then decide on how they want to register their domain names in former Yugoslavia.

If you want to renew your .yu domain it’s possible to do so during the following renewal periods:

• 3rd November 2008 – 2nd March 2008. .yu domains that haven’t been renewed will thereafter be deactivated.
• 3rd March 2009 – 30 April 2009 - One more opportunity will be given to renew and reactivate your .yu domain, for a renewal fee. Domains that haven’t been renewed up until the 30th April 2009 will thereafter be deactivated.
