Connect a domain to any web address!
Forwarding Web is a service that connects www.yourdomain.se to any web address. Two service types are available: masked and unmasked. Both variants are described in detail below.

Unmasked forwarding
Unmasked forwarding transfers the user to the selected ‘target address’, i.e. the address at which the user is to arrive. See example below.

2. www.dipcon.info to www.dipcon.se

Masked forwarding

It is possible to ‘mask’ forwarding, which means hiding the page at which the user arrives. Unlike unmasked forwarding, the address you entered remains in the web browser’s address field.

There is one big advantage to masking forwarding, namely traffic from search engines. Our service creates a ‘hidden page’ containing relevant information for the forwarded domain.

Technology
Unmasked forwarding uses a 301 Redirect, whilst masked forwarding creates a frame (100 % of the web-browser window) to show the target page.
